This picture is the view from Pier Road in Kilchoan, a little village at the furtherest western tip of the UK in Scotland.

The painting is from a day in October 2021. I had walked down Pier road on what had been a grey day and sat on the hillside only to be treated to the cloud parting and this beautiful sky before me.

I have fallen in love with Kilchoan and know i will be painting this view again and again.
